ABOUT BOO AT THE ZOO
Boo at the Zoo is three nights of safe, traffic-free trick-or-treating are featured for this merry-not-too-scary event. Features monster-ous thrills and chills including a Trick & Treat Trail, Boo-Choo-Choo train rides, Creepy Crawly encounters, Spooky Storytelling, Goblin Games, nightly Costume Parades, Ghoulish Goodies and much more. Between 50 and 100 live costumed characters are on hand for the fun this year.

The most popular family Halloween event in the tri-county area, Boo at the Zoo attracts between 4,000 and 6,000 costumed kids and their families over three nights. This year, the fun focuses on the California Trails exhibit, which opened on Earth Day and features endangered or threatened critters from the Golden State. Families are encouraged to mosey on over to see four rare California condors – they were once so endangered it’s frightening!

The Boo Choo-Choo is a special adventure sure to delight all ages on a nearly mile-long, behind-the-scenes route – watch out for outlaws along the way. The perfect outing for young children, Boo at the Zoo also lives up to its name with a Scare Zone for older kids.
