UPDATED:
Casey Lee Wadsworth was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail overnight after being arrested by the Santa Barbara Police Department. Wadsworth is being held on $500,000 bail on the Criminal Threats (422 PC) and Stalking (646.9 PC) charges.
SANTA BARBARA - An investigation into Criminal Threats and Stalking has prompted the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department to obtain an arrest warrant with a $500,000 bail for 45-year old Casey Lee Wadsworth.
Mr. Wadsworth and the victim are acquainted, but have never had a dating relationship. The victim reports that after she tried to end a friendship, Casey Wadsworth reacted by repeatedly telephoning the victim at her work and on her cell phone. During those calls Wadsworth made threats to the victim’s life, her coworkers, and his own life.

Because Wadsworth has threatened to use a gun against the victim and others, the Sheriff's Department is asking that anyone who sees him call 911 to provide timely information to law enforcement. The SBSO strongly advises members of the public to avoid becoming involved in his apprehension.
Through the investigation, the Sheriff's Department has learned that Mr. Wadsworth has been staying in the downtown Santa Barbara area at various homeless shelters during the night and the downtown area of Santa Barbara during the day.
Efforts by the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department and the Santa Barbara Police Department to locate Casey Wadsworth have been unsuccessful.
