"I admire Paul Cook's heroic service as a Marine and now his role in public service as a common-sense, solutions-focused conservative,'' Whitman said. "As a former mayor of Yucca Valley and as an educator, he knows first-hand how Sacramento's senseless spending hurts our schools and our communities. I am honored to have his endorsement.''

"Meg Whitman brings the new kind of leadership we desperately need in Sacramento. Her experience successfully leading a large, innovative organization, creating jobs and delivering results makes her California's best hope,'' Cook said.
