SANTA BARBARA - The Santa Barbara Peace Officers Association (SBPOA) announced today their endorsement of Joyce Dudley for Santa Barbara County District Attorney.

 

The SBPOA represent line-level officers and civilian employees of the Santa Barbara Police Department.  The SBPOA said "we believe that Joyce Dudley’s experience, honesty, integrity, intelligence, tenacity, compassion, and dedication to law and order makes her the most qualified candidate for the office of District Attorney."

 

The elected DA recently Christie Stanly announced her retirement on January 25th, 2010.  Joshua Lynn has stepped in as the acting DA and is also a candidate for DA.
