Proof that the apple does not fall far from the tree, the son of local Pastor Denny Wayman of the Santa Barbara Free Methodist church - Ben Wayman was ordained Saturday (6/27/09) in Greenville, IL.  Wayman, a Santa Barbara native and a graduate of Santa Barbara High School will now begin his doctoral work at St. Louis University.

 

Ben is a graduate of Greenville College and Duke Divinity. Ben is beginning his doctoral work this fall at St. Louis University in early church history. Ben is married to Michelle and they have a son named Caden. They reside in Greenville, Il.
