This program will focus on Pamela Lopker and her "Journey to Success" during a casual chat. The audience will have an opportunity to participate in a Q & A time with Ms. Lopker and can personally interact during a reception and networking to follow. A Conversation with Pamela Lopker presents a rare opportunity for guests to learn about and interact with a highly successful woman leader, entrepreneur and glass ceiling breaker who founded and runs a software company.

Ms. Lopker has long been recognized for her entrepreneurialism and leadership in the advancement of manufacturing software. In March 2001, Fortune magazine named her a "Hero of U.S. Manufacturing." She has been profiled four times by Forbes magazine and numbers among Manufacturing Systems’ “Legends of Manufacturing,” as well as START magazine’s manufacturing industry visionaries. She received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Greater Los Angeles area in 1996.

Ms. Lopker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of California

Santa Barbara. She is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

"The Enlightened Entrepreneurship Series gives students and our community access to highly successful and unique local entrepreneurs and innovators which we hope infuses inspiration in new entrepreneurs and existing business owners,” said SBCC's Scheinfeld Center's director Melissa Crawford.
