15 Computers Stolen From Washington Elementary School

SANTA BARBARA - Washington Elementary school officials reported 15 computers were stolen from the premesis sometime between Friday August 26th and Saturday morning. SB police were not informed of the theft until this Wednesday afternoon (8/31/11.)
An investigation by the police found that the computers were kept in a metal cart in one of the school’s classrooms. Authorities reported that when an employee of the school discovered 15 computers missing from the cart on Saturday the employee reported the incident to the principal immediately. The school principal verified that no employee had taken the computers out of the classroom for school purposes and then called police.The stolen computers are white MacBook Pro Lap Top computers valued at $800 each.
